  Use of the calculator  

There are three sets of variables in the calculator for you to play around: 1) average referrals per affiliate, 2) average monthly sale volume per affiliate, and 3) commission rates for each level.

First of all, you can calculate just your own direct sales commissions. In such a case, you simply set level2 to level9 commission rates to zero, and enter direct sale commission rate.  You may treat "average referrals per affiliate" as the total hosting account number sold by you and "average monthly sale volume per affiliate" as average sale volume per account. 

For example, assume that you were a Gold affiliate, you then enter 40 in direct sale commission rate.  Assume you made 100 sale, you put 100 into "average referrals per affiliate".  Should average sale volume be $9.95, your monthly income potential would be $398. Should your average sale volume be $24.95, your income potential would be $998 a month.  And if average sale volume were $39.95, the monthly income potential would be $1,598...

By default, the calculator is set to calculate a Diamond affiliate's monthly income possibility.  It is assumed that everyone under the Diamond affiliate had three downlines until the level 9, and everyone made only one sale at $39.95.  You may check what would happen if everyone in the group had two or four downlines, instead of three, by adjusting the number in average referrals per affiliate.  Or, you may change the number in the average monthly sales volume per affiliate to get a rough idea about different income possibilities.

Finally, the income potential for all other ranks or positions can be calculated with this income calculator by adjusting the commission rates on each level.

  What does it not tell?  

Please note, this is only a calculation in theory, which would give your a rough idea on what would happen if your sales group went to a certain levels deep and every affiliate had a certain number of  direct sales or a certain number of downline affiliates. It doesn't mean that it is guaranteed to happen, and also it doesn't mean your sales group could automatically grow without your hard work and your group member's hard work. You should not expect that you would earn huge commissions relying on other people's working for you.

  What does the calculator tell?

However, the calculation tells us two things which must be true... 1) Your commission income would grow higher and higher if your long-term hard work resulted in more and more affiliates joining to your sales force so that more and more monthly sales were generated from your own website and from your downline affiliates' websites.

2) The key to succeed in network marketing is not to have as many direct sales as you can on your own, but to have a sales team working together. You should help a limited number of downline affiliates, say three or four, succeed in generating more sales and getting more referrals. Let them copy the same way you do to their downline affiliates. And their downline affiliates should do the same thing to their downline affiliates...

Remember: only your downline affiliates succeed, can you succeed.
